Monday is the day that is the worst for me, and not in the typical way of most folks that are having to go back to work because the weekend is over and have to go back to work.

Hubby has had to give himself an injection in the stomach every Sunday night for the past six months, and the treatments make him seriously ill for several days after that, Monday being the worst.

The treatments keep him pretty much bedridden with severe flu like symptoms, which is something most of us only have to deal with maybe once a year, unless you are smart and get a flu shot.  Hubby has never wanted a flu shot, but this year he did get one, and hopefully he will get one every year after this horrible situation is over with.

So my Mondays are the pitts because he needs me near in order to take care of him until he gets to feeling better on Wednesday.  This puts a serious strain on the whole family but we are dealing with it one day at a time.

The good news is that last night (Sunday) was the last of his injection treatments and surprisingly he got up before I did this Monday a.m. and isn’t feeling the usual flu like symptoms, he isn’t feeling the greatest, mind you, but better than he usually does.  I hope tomorrow morning there isn’t a relapse in store for us.
