A few weeks ago I saw on the news that Hillary Clinton (who by the way, if you hadn’t guessed already, is my choice for president in this campaign) had just done a campaign rally at Washington-Lee High School, in Arlington, VA. Good old W-L High School is where both my sisters and I went to High School back in the 70’s, so it was way cool to hear that Hillary had spoken there during the Potomac Preliminaries.
Washington-Lee played a key role in the education of a lot of famous people such as Warren Beatty, his sister who happens to be Shirley McLean and #@$@#$#$ (I can’t for the life of me remember her name, but when I do I will punch the info in this spot) to name a few. I loved that school and hated to leave it after right after my Junior year was completed to transfer to a school in the neighboring county because my parents moved. That move drastically changed the course of my life and has led me to be right here and now! And that will be a subect for another blog some other time.
I have gone back to my old stomping grounds several times through-out the years and the school always looks different, it seems that it’s constantly under construction always getting bigger and better as it ages through the years.
I think I’m due for another trip down to that part of the woods, maybe I’ll talk my sister into going with me, that would be fun - just the two us!
