CH started to learn how to knit last year from my sister, but by now she has forgotten everything that she had learned, I don’t think she practiced at all when she came home.  I’m thinking this time of asking my sister to teach the both of us how to knit, that way we can learn together and we can have fun making things that are useful when finished.  Arts and crafts are wonderful but you don’t always get a chance to use or properly display the lovely creation and it gets stuffed away somewhere, never to be seen again, at least not until Spring Cleaning comes around, if lucky.

Hats, scarfs, mittens, blankets all those things we could/would use and there are so many other things that you can create by knitting.  I see the coolest things in the crafts section of Wal-Mart that CH and I always love looking at.

Next time I talk to my sis I think I will mention it.  I found a bag of yarn in the basement that I will take down to her and I’m sure she has plenty of knitting needles that we can use.  I’m really looking forward to it.
