Well the EOG’s or end of grade testing is over at work now. Now comes the hard part of my job as an ISS teacher. You see, the kids basically feel that school is over and are itching for it to be out. That makes for a lot of kids being sent to ISS (In School Suspension) because of making poor choices. Boys are grumbling between themselves, girls are skipping classes and just about any other things you can imagine. In fact, today was the first time I have ever seen the OSS (out of school suspension) list longer than the ISS list. I am so glad my son is a good kid. Well he is so far anyway but he’s only 12 so you know what that means, the worst is yet to come maybe. I sure hope not. His two oldest brothers were heck on wheels when they hit 17 so when the third one was 16, I told him he could be 16 or he could be 18 but he wasn’t going to be 17. He said he would just be 18 for 2 years. I told him he could be 16 for 2 years. Luckily he was and still is a really good kid (even if he is 28 now) so there’s hope for the last one!!!!!!
