I can’t believe there are only 10 more days of school left.  I remember when I was a kid and I’m pretty sure the school year was much longer than it is now.  Or that’s the way it seemed then anyway.  It’s true, as you get older, the days, months and years go by much faster.  There is a line in the movie “My hero’s have always been cowboys” in which Ben Johnson asks his son ‘You know what’s the worst part about getting old?’  His son asks what and Ben Johnson says ‘Getting old’.  I agree totally.  No I’m not that old but time is sure in a hurry for me to get there it seems.  Much more of a hurry than I am.  Having 6 grandchildren will help you to feel that way too.  Old that is.  Well actually they make me feel blessed because they help keep you young at the same time.  I just love having them around and then sending them home.  It’s the best of both worlds.
