This is my new blog web site. I’m Debra Baker, and I look forward to sharing bits and pieces of my life with you.

Life here in the Shenandoah Valley keeps me busy with a husband and two kids, one dog and numerous cats.  I’m only working part-time in retail at the mall right now but I’m usually working in an office environment as a receptionist, administrative assistant or secretary.  It’s unfortunate that most of those type of positions are very difficult to get into in this area unless you are related to someone, or sleeping with someone in that company, which leaves me in a pickle.

Seems to me that life is a lot like a pickle anyway, so I’m up to the challage, most days anyways!
