I have struggled with really bad skin since my teenage years and couldn’t find any facial scrub or wash that remotely helped. My daughter had ordered Proactiv, and had offered for me to try it out with her to see if we could notice any differences. After 2 weeks of using Proactiv, my face cleared up and so did my daughters! I do believe I’ll be sticking with Proactiv for a long while, I never thought I would ever use a product that would actually work that was ordered off the TV.
The news hit me hard as I started to think about the times we’ve spent together, the good times, the bad times and all the times in between, when we were younger, in the days of peace and love, the rock n roll days, the days of protest, free love and along with the burning of bras, there was a burning desire to prove to the world we knew how to fix it, fix all the issues with just two words; peace and love. It was a time when everyone over the age of 25 was the adversary, the enemy, unless proven otherwise. It was the sixties and I was considered a hippy to most of the older generation, as my hair dangled down which encouraged their thinking.
I never considered myself a hippy, because I didn’t believe in all they believed in and I considered myself a leader and not a follower. So I was a non conformist even to the hippies. I was never into drugs nor was I into living in a commune which I felt down graded one self and cultivated disease, both venereal and other nasty infections, I had no intention of having contact with.
My husband is a big bass fisherman. He has a 20 foot Nitro 901 CDX with a 3.0 liter 200 hp Mercury motor on it. Man will that thing fly. I have been in a bunch of different types of boats but that’s the first bass boat I’ve ever been in. It rides really good even in rough water. He was chosen to take a camera man around that takes pictures for the big bass tournaments and even that guy told him it rode about the best he ever been in. I have to admit it’s one of the prettiest bass boats I’ve ever seen too. Man have I seen some ugly ones on the lakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was looking at my calendar and was surprised to see that every single day of this week has at least one doctor’s appointment scheduled for every member of the family. I’ve got to get my family back into good health, I guess that is why all of the appointments!
The weather has not been cooperating as of late, I was hoping for a decent week full of lovely days that I could spend outside doing some much needed yard work, but it looks like I will be spending most of my time at various doctor appointments, oh well, there is always next week, and maybe the weather will be better then anyway.
I have never had trouble with allergies but on March 2nd I had 2 serious allergic reactions with my throat closing up and ended up having a total of 5 of them within 3 days. My doctor put me on Xyzal samples he had and told me to take them until the samples ran out. Once they ran out, he said to get Zyrtec to take. Would you believe that after taking Zyrtec for 3 days I had another serious reaction? Well I’m now back on Xyzal and doing much better. The only problem I’m having now is they still don’t know what causes the reactions and hopefully the specialist I’m going to now will figure it out.
