On June 16th, California began allowing Gay marriage.  On May 15, the California State Supreme Court overturned the ban on same sex marriages.  People should not be categorized as gay or straight in order to marry.  We can’t help who we fall in love with.  I don’t think gay is anymore a lifestyle conscious choice than a being straight is.  You are what you are born to be.  By allowing Gays to marry, it gives the life partner rights that they otherwise would not have had without all kinds of legal papers.  In my opinion, it’s the right thing to do for everyone.  But you know what, it’s not to a lot of other people unfortunately.

People will quote the bible, the old testament to be precise but when Jesus came, the old testament was more for a history less rather than law.  The new testament took it’s place but there are the old time religious people that cleve onto the old words.  Then why not an eye for an eye then.  Why not if thy hand smites the, cut it off???  Selective reading and selective following too.

A friend of mines daughter is getting married.  She’s in nursing school and will graduate the week before the marriage.  I wanted to get her something ‘fitting for their honeymoon’ and found the cutest: nurse costumes. She can practice taking her husbands pules on their honeymoon. I bet it gets elevated!!!!! I hope so anyway.

My baby is breaking out on his face.  I knew it was coming.  This summer his voice started changing and his hair is getting awfully oily so I have already started checking into acne treatments for him. My brother had a terrible time with acne and I know they have much better treatments now so I want to save my son a lot of embarrassment my brother went through.

MSN Money central has a list of 5 stupid money fixes.  In these economic times that we all face, it’s probably a good idea that they puplished these because each of us just might consider one or all of them at some point.  Gas keeps going higher and higher, food too, then add the high forclosure rate and you have a recipe for disaster with people that are starting to see disaster up ahead.  Check out http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/ and see if you are one of many that might have considered one or more of these so called quick fixes.

With all the crazy weather this year, my hubby and I have been thinking about generators and maybe purchasing one. They come in awfully handy if the power goes out from ice storms or those terrible summer storms that have been hitting everywhere.  Besides, we have a camper too and we can use the generator to camp beside my husbands mother in the mountains too.
