There’s this number that keeps showing up on my cell phone through the day when I can’t answer it because I’m teaching class.  They never leave a message or anything and they have called about 9 times now.  It was really starting to bug me too until I found Phone Info Tracer.  You can find out who’s number it is that keeps calling you either on a land line or even a cell phone as long as it’s in the US or Canada that is.  It will also give you an address for the number too. 

Hey, another way you could use this is if there’s someone you would like to find from your past like an old flame, you could find their number and address on here and they won’t be notified either.  Then you can decide if you really want to call them or not and they’ll never know the difference.  Pretty neat service if you ask me.

With fall and Halloween just around the corner, my family and I spent the weekend in the yard planting bulbs for the spring and decorating the yard for the season.  We had a blast.  We stacked up some bails of straw and put some mums on them and pumpkins too.  It’s way too early to carve any of them so we also put out some plastic Jack-o-Lanterns we have that have lights in them.

I had found an old set of pillow cases that were white, took them apart and made 4 ghosts to fly on a wire between some of the trees in our yard.  They came out really good because we used balloons for the heads and that made the rest of the body flow really good in the wind. 

My husband had put a Boston Butt on the grill and had it cooking on low most of the day while we were in the yard.  It smelled heavenly and I think it made of work even harder to get finished so we could have an early dinner or late lunch.  I had sweet potatoes baking in the oven, put on a jar of green beans I had canned over the summer and also had made macaroni salad last night for today.  It’s always better to let it sit so all the different flavors can blend and make it yummy.  I just hope the rice noodles work as well as regular ones since I can’t have wheat now.

Anyway, we recycled a few old things which only helps the environment, added some flowers for next year to make our environment a little brighter and basically had some good clean fun together as a family.  Nothing beats spending time with the ones you love outdoors and then around the table for a meal to top it all off.

My husband joined the Disabled American Veterans Association about a month ago.  Now he’s even volunteering there.  He drives Veterans to the different VA Hospitals in the state who can’t get there on their own.   Since he retired last year and only works a couple days a week now, it’s good for him to get out and stay busy.  It’s especially good for him to feel useful and know that he’s helping other veterans.  I’m really proud of him for doing this.  If I could retire, I would help out too but I still have a few more years to work before I can do that.

You know, with there being so many foreclosures and people on the verge of losing their homes, my husband and I decided that it just might be a good time to check into a summer home with Wilmington NC real estate. My parents live at the coast about 40 miles south of Wilmington and we love it anywhere along the coast there.  We have thought about getting a place in that area for the past 4 or 5 years but just haven’t taken the time before now.  Yeah, I think now is the time.

I am so darn mad at myself.  Of all the darn things, yesterday I backed right into a telephone pole at the telephone company to make matters worse.  Like they aren’t supposed to have telephone poles at the telephone company.  Well not in the middle of the tiny little parking lot anyway.  Now I’m looking for yorba linda collision repair so I can get an estimate on the damage.  I can get a rough estimate right online and make an appointment too. 

I just wonder if I could get that darn telephone pole cut down?  Why in the world would they have a stupid pole in the middle of their parking lot anyway.  Maybe they got something going on with the insurance company???  It’s possible but I doubt it.  It’s not like they just put it there either.  It’s been right there for as long as I can remember it.  I just wish I would have remembered it yesterday too.
