Well it’s about time!  The Dow went up almost 900 points.  That’s a healthy jump but no one is jumping for joy just yet.  They’re all waiting to see if it goes back down and I can’t say as I blame them. Investors are expecting a cut in interest rates when the Federal Reserve announces its decision Wednesday. But they’re also staring into an economic abyss, bracing for a recession of a depth no one knows for sure.  It will all change once the election is over and we find out who the next president is.

Of all the darn times for my ac compressor to go out on my car, it picks a day when it’s 84 outside.  I couldn’t believe it when my son said the air conditioner compressor had died on me.   Luckily for me, his wife had found an auto a/c parts site online.  She saved me a bundle and my son saved me even more by putting it on for me.  It does come in handy to have a son that knows about cars.  Hey, if your in need of an a/c compressor, you should check with them before you buy one to see if you can get it cheaper.  I bet you just might.

There’s this number that keeps showing up on my cell phone through the day when I can’t answer it because I’m teaching class.  They never leave a message or anything and they have called about 9 times now.  It was really starting to bug me too until I found Phone Info Tracer.  You can find out who’s number it is that keeps calling you either on a land line or even a cell phone as long as it’s in the US or Canada that is.  It will also give you an address for the number too.

Hey, another way you could use this is if there’s someone you would like to find from your past like an old flame, you could find their number and address on here and they won’t be notified either.  Then you can decide if you really want to call them or not and they’ll never know the difference.  Pretty neat service if you ask me.

I am so darn mad at myself.  Of all the darn things, yesterday I backed right into a telephone pole at the telephone company to make matters worse.  Like they aren’t supposed to have telephone poles at the telephone company.  Well not in the middle of the tiny little parking lot anyway.  Now I’m looking for yorba linda collision repair so I can get an estimate on the damage.  I can get a rough estimate right online and make an appointment too.

I just wonder if I could get that darn telephone pole cut down?  Why in the world would they have a stupid pole in the middle of their parking lot anyway.  Maybe they got something going on with the insurance company???  It’s possible but I doubt it.  It’s not like they just put it there either.  It’s been right there for as long as I can remember it.  I just wish I would have remembered it yesterday too.

Did you hear about the pig in Australia that was holding a woman captive in her home for 10 days?  She had an outhouse (an outside bathroom for those of you who don’t know what that is) and couldn’t even go out to the bathroom without this 176 pound pig attacking her.  The 63 year old woman is an animal lover and said the pig they called ‘Bruce’ kept head butting her bedroom door demanding to be fed.

Okay, I love animals too.  I especially love pork Bar-b-que and bacon.  No animal is going to keep me held hostage in my home.  Not even an animal I raised and loved.  I’m sorry but it would have been taken care of one way or another.  It wasn’t even her pig.  It wandered on to her property 11 days earlier.  The animal was finally captured and taken to a piggery where he will do a stint as a stud.  I still think the woman should have at least gotten some bacon for her misery.
