MSN Money central has a list of 5 stupid money fixes.  In these economic times that we all face, it’s probably a good idea that they puplished these because each of us just might consider one or all of them at some point.  Gas keeps going higher and higher, food too, then add the high forclosure rate and you have a recipe for disaster with people that are starting to see disaster up ahead.  Check out http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/ and see if you are one of many that might have considered one or more of these so called quick fixes.

My neighbor just came to me all upset because her husband has mesothelioma. I honestly had to ask her what that was and was heartsick when she said it was Asbestos Cancer. They have been married for 28 years and have a really good marriage too.  With all the medical advances with cancer, I can only hope and pray that he will survive this.  It’s a shame we couldn’t have figured out that stuff caused cancer before it affected so many people.  They think it came from his job too.

I woke up this morning, looked at the clock, jumped out of bed because I was late for work and realized it was SATURDAY!!!  I hate it when I do that.  I don’t do that very often.  Well not too much since I was in junior high school, oops, it’s called middle school now.

Anyway, I came home from school and had to read this boring stuff for English Lit. class and fell asleep.  When I woke up, I looked at the clock and it was about a half hour after I normally got up to get ready for school and the sun was going down so it looked kinda like it would at that time of morning.  So I jump off the bed and take off to the bathroom to get ready for school and my little brother said  “What are you doing?”  I looked at him like he was stupid or something and said “Getting ready for school, why?”  Then he started laughing and told me that Mom had sent him to my room to tell me that dinner was ready.  Yeah I felt real stupid about then.

How many men do you know that will have dinner ready for you when you get home from work?  Not too many.  Even though my husband is retired, he cooks dinner for me most nights that I have to work.  He still works two days a week and I usually cook those nights but the other three nights, he cooks usually.  Thank goodness he’s a good cook too.  How is it that one day he can totally tick me off and then the next day, goes out of his way to do something nice.  Oh, I know what that was about….he wants some ’special attention’!!  Aren’t men easy to figure out??  At least in that way they are and only that way.

The only reason women are hard for men to figure out is because we never know when we can talk to you without you always wanting to ‘fix it for us’.  If you’ll just sit there and listen once in a while, you might get part of us figured out.  We figured out a long time ago that if you don’t want him to try and fix it for you, then don’t tell him about it.

They say women are moody.  Oh and I guess a man wouldn’t sit and pout when he doesn’t get his way.  I guess he doesn’t walk in the door with that look on his face and we know better than to breathe too loud around him.  And I guess any mood can change to a cuddly mood on the drop of a dime and then wonder why it won’t for us.  They say women gossip all the time.  Next time you get the chance to sneak up around a bunch of men, listen very quietly and then tell me men don’t gossip.  Sure they don’t.  They say women complain too much.  They say women talk on the phone all the time or all day long.

They say………………a whole lot of crap about a whole lot of crap!!  Men are just as hard for us to figure out as we are for them to figure out but we are very similar too.  That’s what I have a hard time with is when we are similar and they refuse to see it.  They aren’t as smart as they think they are sometimes.
