Don’t you hate it when you look so forward to a weekend and then have a lousy Saturday.  It just ruins everything.  My roof leaked, my husband ticked me off, my mother upset me and then good old faithful Daddy had to make sure to upset me the most.  Even your parents can upset you when you’re a grown-up or supposed to be anyway and I think there are times when your husband thinks that’s his job.

Why is it that there are just some days when you wish you would have just stayed in bed or had to work or anything other than what went on?  Why does it seem that when one thing goes down the toilet, everything else has to follow?

Yeah I guess I’m feeling sorry for myself right now so why don’t we all just have a stinking pity party for me?  May as well, I’m throwing a pretty good one for myself.  You might even enjoy it, who knows?  Enough belly aching, there’s always tomorrow and God willing, it won’t be as crappy but we shall see.

Reno sounds good but I’m also checking into cruises.  I can see myself stretched out on the deck chairs, soaking up the sun, listening to the water rushing under the cruise ship and enjoying the peace I always feel when I’m on the water.  You know, I think that would do me more good than going to Reno.  Who knows, I just might do both while I have the time off.

How is it that companies come up with the names of their products?  Well they hire a linguist major to look at the syntax, semantics, phonetics and all the other components that make up the names of new products.  Now how neat is that?  I always wondered what kind of job a linguist would be able to get and now I know.  Pretty neat, huh?

I thought they had something to do with teaching kids to speak properly that maybe had a lisp or something like that.  They might do that too but the other job is pretty neat too don’t you think?  You know me, I’m all for education and believe that you can never have enough.  That’s the one thing no one can take away from you.  Well no one but you and your own mind that is.

I have had my laptop for about a year now.  I thought I had plenty of memory when I got it but now I really need to buy memory because I’m running out.  I take my laptop with me everywhere I go now.  I thought I would use it more for school work but I have found that I use it for everything from sorting my recipes to anything else you can imagine.  I’m so glad I found these guys because I can buy more internal memory or one of those neat memory sticks as I call them.  You know, the ones that go into your USB port.  Pretty neat and awfully handy.

I have to take a leave of absence for about a month until my sister gets better and can take care of herself.  I sure hope they are able to get a good substitute for me while I’m gone.  I know the children will have a hard time adjusting to me when I come back but it just can’t be helped.  Family has to come first sometimes.
